Fancy my button tree?

I grabbed my Fancy Pants Buttons & Red Pom Pom trim to create my pillow.  Just in time for the holidays.   It was simple to make & directions are up on the Fancy Pants Blog.  I love how it turned out & i can't wait to make more.  

and here are some layouts with the new Fancy Pants lines.

 

Vintage Valentine.  I love Rev & her energy.  She totally cracks me up & so blessed to have her in my life.  I jacked the pictures from her blog.  They were to beautiful not to use!  Love the pops of aqua in this kit so i used them with the paint. 

Frosted.  I had these pictures for a while now.  I wanted to do something with them but still capture the playfulness of the day.  Enter the Frosted line.  I sprayed the chipboard with Sapphire glimmering mist.  I wish you could see how it sparkles.

but it is all gone.  It was so good.  And because there wasn't enough chocolate inside & in the frosting, i drizzled more over the top.

i finished up a little thanksgiving shopping

i so need to clean the house before guests arrive.... this is why we have kids people, free laborers... Muhahahahaha

i need to answers emails, always

i have many projects underway that  i can't wait to share

i made homemade triple chocolate ice cream

i will make some vanilla ice cream tonight as well

i am vitamin d deficient again this winter & it makes me so tired, bring on the milk

i am not going to let the holidays consume me but rather enjoy the journey

i miss my friends

i am excited to go visit Jessi soon, even if it is in december in the arctic north

i miss my shopping partner Chrissi & our power shopping trips, especially around the holidays

i know it's the Christmas season because the GAP commercials are out

Ok first off, lexi made me wear the shirt she made

We went to see the premier last night at 12:01 pm.  I bought tickets a while ago.  I admit i was excited to share this opportunity with her & her friends.  Lexi called the theater to see what time they recommended getting there.  At 7 pm there was already a line.  Are you kidding me?  So with some begging & pleading on her part, we left to go stand in line.  OUTSIDE.  31 F (-1 C).  I had no idea it was going to be outside so no hat, no gloves.  We grabbed some hot chocolate & stood in line chatting with some hilarious girls.  At 9:50 pm we finally got to go inside and sit in the theater.  Well i should say our theater.  12 showings of New Moon.  12 different lines.  And some were still outside when we went in.  These are some serious fans.  I even saw a girl with red contacts.  No joke.  We chatted for about 2 hours until the movie started.  This is where being a night owl came in handy.  After that.....

well i won't spoil the movie for you.  I will be happy to chat about it later.

so there must be some reason why that little fact should pop up on my instant messsage account

just like when i look around at things today

i am in comfortable pants & shirt because i took a step at creating a healthy body

part of that journey was letting go of those needs wants for perfection & first time fears

i met kari at my first yoga class ever

i also was met with cameras recording this mornings session

is this a test? of course it is

and i was scared, i was fearful of being wrong in the poses,

but i knew i had to embrace the fear & let go

after all that was what today was about

defining my values & living those values, which includes healing this body

both mentally & physically

knowing it is ok to be scared, it is ok to be fearful

also long as i don't let it consume who i am

i guess to a lot of us scrappy people, it seemed like the perfect weekend.

1. Plans and schedules sometimes just go out the window .
2. I'm happy when things seem to fall into place .
3. The last thing I drank was water (ok maybe not) .
4. One of the most valuable things in my life is love.
5. I like cheese on my pizza. duh... and some veggies too

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to crafting with canananadian friend (if she ever comes back online..i can hear the excuses now...i decided to vegg, i got lost in edward's arms, i had to find my flannel shirt ), tomorrow my plans include a little cleaning, a little sewing, and some homemade pasta and Sunday, I want to chilax with the family!
