Tricia & I met up with these two crazy gals for dinner the first night. What a blast. I love it when laughter is abound. This show is so different from the feel from the Orlando Summer 2009 CHA. Lots more booths, lots more energies, and some really great releases. I just want to create right now.
I thought i would show you some peeks into some booths at CHA.
The theme for decorating booths this year is dressmaker dolls. They are in abundance in lots & lots of booths. We have been women on a mission for the first day. Now we will get to wander a little bit more and really focus in on things we like.
I will post pictures of the fabulous goods soon.
Love Always

Inspiration: Colour Lovers. If you haven't noticed, i love colors. Sometimes i end up gravitating to the colors i love over & over again. I bet you do to. So why not try Colour Lovers for a new combo? My favorite place to go on the site is the palattes. i could get lost diggin into the all the beautiful combinations. And don't even get me started on the lovely names.

I really do feel it. This year is so different. I know it just one number difference in the year. It really is just a day that is different... but i feel it. So maybe it is all about perspective. I have to say twenty-10 looks so good to me. I have worked really hard last year to be in a better place. I will continue working towards goodness but it doesn't feel as forces. I am just BEing me. Adding in new things. Stretching. Pushing. Challenging. but just BEing me. and it feels good.
The goods. Kenner Road January Kit plus a fabulous vintage calendar stamp from Purple Onion Designs. Stamped it three times on the background then misted over it. Love Mist. Popped up some of the pennants and let the ribbon meander. Its how i feel, meandering through life with a smile. and maybe some tea.
it's a LOVE story.

I was angry with the kids yesterday. I felt like they weren't respectful. I felt like they were taking advantage of me because of course mom will always do it. I don't pretend to be a saintly parent. Sometimes i make mistakes, more than i care to admit. And yesterday was one of those days. I got crabby. I blew up at them because they weren't helping. I had it in my head what they should do & they weren't meeting those expectations. But the truth of the matter is, i never clearly communicated those expectations to them. And i let my anger get the best of me. While the kids do have their moments as well, i need to be better at communication. i am still learning as a parent.

I truly mean this to be easy to follow. You can do as little or as much as you like... meaning you may just do these little prompts or the techniques or both. The prompts will be mostly open ended & up for your own interpretation. There is no right or wrong. Don't stress over it. Play and have fun. And always feel free to ask questions.
Week 2: Happiness is _________
Inspiration: Secret Sundays & Seth
Crumple up the tissue paper. Next cover your card with liquid glue.
Spread that crumpled tissue paper out onto the glue. It creates these beautiful little ridges of texture. So much fun. Flip the card over & trim off the excess. Repeat the process until you have achieved the texture you like. You can also spray in between the layers. I did it a couple times..bring on the textures.
Other ways to use ATCs...
Lastly...
The Winner: number 27
