my creative process. i was inspired by Liz Tamanaha's post It begins with a photo. (Love her style, love her digi products, love that Purple Onion carries her camera as a stamp) So i thought i would walk you through one of my layouts.
1. it started with this photo, a story, & Cocoa Daisy's Vintage Ink kit. Love vanilla cardstock & it was my choice of backgrounds.
2. Add a crafter's workshop stencil (Star Shower 6x6) & some Tattered Angel's pink taffy spray mist.
3. Trim a little piece of pattern paper to go with my choice of photo size.
4. Bend down edges and adhere the same pattern paper behind it.
5. Stamp accent images using grey ink. The splat stamp is a cocoa daisy exclusive & can be purchased here. Add contrasting paper strip right below photo. (see layout below for details)
6. Draw journaling lines for journaling & title placement.
7. Title page only to realize all the R's are gone. Those leftovers look pretty good. Trim around them and use them with other letters. Add journaling. Erase pencil lines.
8. Add in random stitches. Three is a good number.
9. Photograph layout, crop & post.
sweet love
