We are back home in Denver. While i totally love my house, this city, and the family i have here, i fear i left my heart in Doha. It was an incredible visit filled with some much love and good times. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily i could adapt to life there. I admit i wouldn't really want to drive there just yet. Roundabouts confuse me and the drivers are a wee bit aggressive. We traveled all across Qatar from forts in the north west to the beach & sand dunes in the south east. Andrew kept us quite busy trying to show us about life there.
It was good to see his life there and i am happy he has such a good group of friends. I already miss him like crazy, tearing up the whole plan ride home. I have to say his airline is so luxurious and we were blessed to travel with them. The flight home does get a bit long, 16:19 to be exact. We stopped in Houston, had a 2 hour lay over, and then hopped another 2:30 flight home to Denver. We were exhausted after 24 hours or so of traveling. However we all woke up early this morning, anywhere from 4:30 - 6:00 am. Hopefully we will get back on Denver time soon. In the meantime here are some pictures from our last days there.
