Last Saturday night i got to hang with some fabulous friends, cropping together. It always feel good to get out of my house, my craft room, and to be with them. They are incredible women who bring much love & laughter to my life. While sitting there, a stinker sitting next to me who shall be nameless (CHRISTYN) started encouraenabling (encourage + enable) me. "Ronda have you tried the distress stains?" I'd like to say i resisted but truth be told, many bottles may or may not have been purchased. So much fun. I used the antique linen around the edges of the layout. I also used Maya Mists (Lemon Metallic & Dragon Fruit) on the page combined with some paint & neocolorii watercolor crayons. The rest of the material came from Cocoa Daisy's Feb kit "By the Numbers" which i am happy (& sad for you) to say is sold out. I'm now anxiously awaiting the March kit Pier 39!
As for the photo, it's one of my favorites. i love my man. i especially love him in uniform. Can't you just hear the theme from an Officer & a Gentle Man? It's hard being away from him but the countdown has begun, 15 days to go!
