These three have really grown up together. Jake, my beautiful sister Chrissi's oldest boy, fits right between my kids, literally. My kids are three years apart and he is about 1.5 from each of them. They spent a lot of younger years together as Chrissi & I were inseparable so they were. And then when Chrissi & John moved here to Colorado in 2008, they spent even more time together. i love how their relationship has grown as well as their bond. Jake is out here to spend a lot of the summer out here with us. While we are missing his brother Parker, we are excited to have lots of quality time with Jake. I know Chrissi would be happy.
While he is here, Jake & I will be cooking lots together. He wants to go to cooking school after high school to become a chef. He's already been baking for us. I am happy to share what i know with him. Plus we have been exploring the area, just enjoying time together. Here's a look at our day with Jake, Anthony (Yes he's home from Germany...more on that later), Lexi, & Kevin playing in Estes Park.
