it is hard to believe that my sweet baby boy isn't a baby boy anymore. Anthony's heading into 11th grade, his junior year. I have been here before and know all too well how these last two years of high school will fly by. He's had an amazing summer with a trip to Germany. He had a fantastic time there with his wonderful host family and friend Moo. His command of the German language has improved so much i cannot get him to stop talking German to me. He answers all my questions in German and even sends me texts in German. He learned a lot while he was there, going to school with Moo and field trips around Bavaria. He visited Dachau which was so hard for him. I got a text shortly after saying "Mom i have seen the worst humanity has to offer." I cried when i read that text. He came home a change man with such a positive spirit about his trip (even with the rough bits) and his next steps. He even asked me to take some pictures. I cannot remember when i could get him to sit for pictures without a big hand in my face. I jumped at the chance, got in the car, and drove to a nearby abandon railroad tracks to capture this handsome dude. Click on any photo to make it larger.
