After making my canvas necklace with Julie at the Crafter's Workshop booth at CHA, i immediately purchase some gel printing plates from Gelli Arts. In fact i ordered them in the hotel room before i left that's how hooked i am. I have been playing with them off and on but these last few days i have been going crazy. Finally some time to sit down and create for me. It is so hard to stop once you get going. seriously! Here are some pieces i created yesterday.
As you can tell, i love color. and i love the layers i can create with each monoprint. I am just getting started with the plates. I am not sure which direction i will take these pieces. I know some will be art journal pages, some may be used in project life, some may be simply art pieces. I am ready to create some more today.
