So very honored & pleased to be Jillibean Soup's Guest Designer this month. I really love Jillibean Soup and Jill & the girls. The papers are always bright & cheerful, just how i like them. Their last CHA release are just awesome and did you see the Soup Staples II? I love basic paper that you can use for anything! I will be sharing my creations throughout the month. i have two layouts to share with you today.
Age 16. My baby boy isn't a baby or a boy anymore. He's turned into quite the young man. We celebrated his 16th birthday not to long ago. I absolutely adore this photo i took of him that day. I can see the kid and the young man. For this layout i used the hexies stamp again, layered over some bubble wrap paint. I love the clusters of items around the photo that really reinforce my photos. I added some walnut stains to the kraft tags and popped up the yellow patterned paper.
Oh how i do love these girls. A night out with them is always filled with love, laughter, and inspiring moments. I started out with Balzer Design's Chevron Arrow stencil and distress ink. I love the softness of the ink with the stencil. I layered bits of hexies, kraft tags, banner bites, soup labels, and Pea Pods. I shifted the layout and added the yellow salt soup staples II for that pop of color. Paint splatters and stitches to complete the layout. i love the extra space for journaling on the tag too.
