So very honored & pleased to be Jillibean Soup's Guest Designer this month. I really love Jillibean Soup and Jill & the girls. The papers are always bright & cheerful, just how i like them. Their last CHA release are just awesome and did you see the Soup Staples II? I love basic paper that you can use for anything! I will be sharing my creations throughout the month starting with Life 101.
Last month my sister-in-law Kari asked me to take some family photos. I always get nervous before taking photos for families. i want to make sure i get at least one great photo but hopefully multiple good ones. The family was readjusting at this moment, talking to the boys, trying to sooth them. i kept shooting because to me, these are real life shots.
i knew this photo would tell the perfect story for this layout. it captured their life right now. their beautiful, chaotic, lovely real life. i also documented my roll in photographing their life. i felt blessed they trusted me to tell their story through photos.
I really love this layout using lots & lots of Jillibean Soup goodies. I used multiple lines from their new releases. I love how they all go together. I popped up some of the elements to make them stand out. The Soup Labels are so much fun to add to any project! The kraft tag i altered using some distress stains. The stencil in the background is Balzer Designs/TCW wonky circles with some mustard seed distress ink. Of course i had to have a few paint splatters on the background too.
So have you documented your real life lately?
