So happy for Andy for he will be flying the new 787s Qatar Airways has acquired. When he was home last, he go word he would be upgrading to this metal beast. We were both overjoyed that he is moving up in the 1.5 years he has been flying for them. Before he was a pilot, he was an aerospace engineer. [Insert Rocket Science jokes here] He worked for Boeing on their 767 simulators so flying the Boeing planes is something special for him.
The downside to all this is he won't be coming home until March. Our first chance to see him will be in December. It's been a month since he was home and i miss him so much. Skype helps. Texting helps. Postcards from his trips help. but i just miss holding his hand, snuggling up to him, his boisterous laughter, and lots more. So two months feels like a long time from now but i am counting it down to keep me distracted. The beauty of it all is he may have some days off while we are there at Christmas time. It would be a big blessing for us to just have quality time together. For he is my prince.
