Celebrating: Anthony is doing far better this first quarter of the semester than he has in the past many years. We are extremely proud of the steps he is taking to better his study habits & his academic performance.
Visiting. Alexi going to University in Colorado has been a blessing for us all. She feels free living on her own but still comes home every now and then for a visit. It's been nice. Although she did forget about Fall & Winter here and was in desperate need of a jacket with the recent cold snap.
Stressed. It seems like i cannot get away from this one. Or rather i let it control me too often. it comes from missing Andrew a lot. Working on it along with a dedicated schedule and using the word "no" more so i can say yes to me.
Excited. to be teaching this weekend at Rocky Mountain Memories. I truly love to teach and encourage. Three different classes each with a different purpose with lots of techniques.
Moved. Well Andrew is. Last time i was in Doha we talked about him moving apartments. We both agree where he was living was not the place for us, too far removed from the city. Company housing had an opening in the building we liked and he took it. Better location, closer to the city, closer to work. Only one bedroom. Kids will be on the sofa & air mattresses this December ;)
Planning. this is an always for me. But i am referring to CHA. It is just around the corner and i have a new adventure on the horizon. My lips are sealed for now.
Reflecting. Going through old blog posts and seeing how far i have come. Seeing what life was like then versus now. love that i have recorded thoughts, moments, family stuff, as well as all the art/craft/tutorial stuff.
Reading. on a serious book binge, soaking up both fiction and non-fiction. I have gone through so many books and am always looking for recommendations. Read any good books lately?
Updating. If you haven't noticed, the blog is getting a facelift. I have been working hard on graphics, archiving, and a general revamp to make it more functional and more reflective of me. Seriously giddy at how it's shaping up.
Loved.
