Last Word Up i said i was starting small. And i honestly thought i was but after that post some strangely wonderful things happened. Denise played along, Karla posted on Facebook how much she missed OLW, & Revlie had sent me a note a while ago reminscing about it. They, like me, had truly missed OLW so i contacted them to see if they were still interested. And if i was contacting them.... well i am excited to announce OLW is back up & in full swing. Go check out the details on the blog. We also have a fan page on facebook so be sure to like us there. We hope you will join us and celebrate the power of words.
It's jessi's word up and she has some beautiful words for you. My take on CELEBRATE is my first entry in my new Dylusions Journal. It feels good & it feels right that this is the first entry. I started layering old london maps on the page. I then used my gelatin plate to add some layers of paint onto the page. I added in some aquarelle artists crayons and then some Maya Mists. I stamped some images around the page. I had this lovely purple tag that i created a while ago. it was the perfect pop of color so i cut it up and added it to the page. I then drew the silhouette on the page and then painted it in black. Journaling around the left edge of the silhouette describing all that i am, all that i am celebrating, and embracing all of me!
