It's the first day of December, the last month of 2012. All too soon we will be heading into twenty-thirteen. We haven't had a lot of snow as of late and i find myself longing for it. I love a good snowfall, watching those perfect little flakes come down to build up layers, blanketing the earth in crisp white tones. It says to me "December" much like this picture above. I took this photograph a while ago (2007) while visiting Jessi in Red Deer, Canada. I loved the way this tree looked with it's bright berries on a branch weighted by snow. Winter captured on a cold day. I love this photograph so much it's this months inspiration for Color My World. The greys of the weather wood serve as a backdrop to the creamy white & blue white tones. The berries bring the pop of red to complete this winter scene. I think it shall serve as my color inspiration for my Christmas cards this year.
