continuing on with my favorites of 2012. It has been a great way to reflect on my style and how it's changed, on what i accomplished, and also helps me fine tune my direction for the upcoming here. Today's post is about art journaling.
so here are my favorites of 2012
in no particular order
what i love: the color. the stencil. the message.
what i love: learning to journal more deeply without exposing all of me. the colors & stencils.
what i love: the white space. the bold graphic stencil with the color. b&w vintage photo.
what i love: use of white. playing with spray paint. the leaf stamp.
what i love: under colors. scraped layers. the message.
what i love: doodled leaves. the color. the string.
what i love: bold title. graphic arrow. simplicity.
what i love: unusual color choice. the tea tag. the doodles.
what i love: color. stamps. black accents.
what i love: white space. monochromatic. butterflies.
what i see in looking back: i see my confidence in art journaling growing. i am finding a way for my need for color and my need for white space to coexist. i am learning to balance the journaling with the art, feeling a bit more open. i like black as much as white in my art journaling pages.
