Are you ready? it's time to introduce you to two more of my new stencil line with The Crafter’s Workshop! Today I am sharing with you my Urban Landscape (TCW 342) & Subway (TCW 343) stencils. I’m a a traveler, a wanderer of this planet. I love discovering new places, journeying to new continents & countries, and I truly love being in the city. Urban Landscape is a tribute to cities everywhere. This hand drawn stencil is a compendium of cities making it universal. With the shadow and the hand drawn details, Urban Landscape can be used in a variety of ways.
These tags are using the 12x12 version. From left to right we have spray paint, reversed stamped with spray paint, and a gelatin print.
These tags were created with the 6×6 version. On the top you see the shadow in white spray paint, in the middle is a black shadow in black spray paint, and the bottom is combing the shadow and detail drawing.
These tags are the shadow of the 6x6 stencil using spray paint both sprayed through and reverse stamped.
These tags are the hand drawn details of the 6x6 stencil using spray paint both sprayed through and reverse stamped.
The top tag is my favorite black pen tracing the stencil. The bottom tag is a shadow layer of yellow and then pinks & reds with the hand drawn details.
Wander is a 12×12 layout using both the shadow & detail drawing of the 12×12 stencil using spray inks. The title Wander was stitched after using the template to punch holes for the thread. Lots of My Mind's Eye enamel dots in the background along with splatters of spray inks.
This art journal page was also made using the 12×12 Urban Landscape Stencil. On the background you can also see my previous released Kaleidoscope 6×6 Stencil.
This tag was created using the 12×12 Urban Landscape stencil along with the 6×6 Kaleidoscope stencil.
This piece is made using the 12×12 Urban Landscape stencil and watercolor crayons to create an awesome watercolor effect. Click on this or any piece to see it larger. You need to see this one large, it's so cool!
Subway also developed from my wanderings but also for my need for a shall we say manly/boyish graphic stencil. I love that it can be multifunctional, travel, life in the city, transportation, or just a cool background.
This layout uses the 12×12 Subway stencil. I sponged paint through this stencil to create this engineer like background as a nod to my Rocket Scientist husband. I have any ideas for this stencil running through my head.
This art journal page uses the 12×12 stencil adding in colorful details that pop on the page. You can also see the gessoed 12×12 Kaleidoscope stencil peeking thru the background. It isn't quite finished yet (hence the title "untitled") but i couldn't wait to share the Subway image on it.
So which sample strikes your fancy?
