You may or may not have seen this image on Pinterest. Isn't it just lovely? i fell in love with it a long time ago. i love what it expresses so much. So when i got the Home Sweet Home Mixed Media Album for my assignment from Maya Road, i knew i wanted to turn it into a In This House mini.
This album comes with both chipboard pages and kraft pages in the inside. My house had to be very colorful so of course i covered the background in layers of mists. I added the window chipboard square around the windows. The title is a mixture of chipboard letters and rub-ons. Little splatters here & there. My little house comes with a little garden and key. To color the key, i used nail polish on the metal.
On the interior, i used square photos of my house, both interior & exterior shots. These speak of home to me. Again i used lots of color on the backgrounds working in layers. It's how i start all my mini albums. Then i added in embellishments with each photos. Here's a look at all the interior pages...
