We are already a full week into 2013 and i'll be honest, i feel a bit behind on creating my goals for this year. i want to sit down and take a critical look at what i want out of this year both creatively and personally. i do believe in the value of goals. they help me visuals what i want and more importantly, make me put a plan of action into place so i can achieve those goals.
and while i haven't written down these goals down yet, they have been roaming around in my brain. i know there has to be some creative growth in the plans. i am one who is always looking to learn. another goal is to make sure i take time to create for just me. so while i have been in the midst of lots of CHA creations, i stopped to take time for me. self care before self destruct.
this art journal page is a "leftover" page. it has be evolving for quite some time and i am happy with the results. the mostly monochromatic background really works for me. every time i had green paint out, i would add an extra layer. same thing with the different stencils on this page. the tag was a piece that didn't make it onto my layout i was working on. i had my neocolor ii crayons out and decided to color the tag with greens to complete this page. i was also working with some black paint so i decided to paint the leaf on the tag along with some of the doodles and word "grow." after a few hand drawn doodles and journaling the page was complete.
what are your creative goals for this year?
