This 6x6 piece makes me happy. It uses the technique found in this Ghost Stamping blog post. i love the way the colors pop the script stamp. After making the background, i stamped images using black archival ink. i painted the leaves using acrylic paint. i stamped the two butterfly images on watercolor paper and colored them in. i added enamel accents to both the butterflies and the title.
This piece is also 6x6. It started out with a gelli arts gelatin printing plate and my 6x6 kaleidoscope stencil. i then layered paints and distress inks over the background. i stamped and doodled on the background. The dress form is a sticky back canvas transfer and then layered with crackle accents. i painted the wings, glued them down, and added the dress form. i added enamel accents to the background in a random dot pattern.
