i have a blessed life. A truly blessed life. Andrew has been home almost a month now. It's hard to believe since we rarely get this gift of time. We are treasuring every minute of it. Julie came to stay for the night and ended up here for 3 nights. What a blessing to have my friend here, someone who shares my passions, who makes me laugh, who i trust and love. Both kids were around this weekend as well, spending time with all of us. (Alexi was camera shy this weekend so no pics of my baby girl) We had a great dinner out as well as dinners in, sitting around my dinner table laughing and sharing memories.
Of course Julie & i squeezed in some creative time. We went to paint & play at archiver's with some local friends. We spent many hours in the craftroom creating, uplifting, and of course enabling. i needed this, in so many ways.
Saturday night was a birthday dinner, mine to be exact. i turn 42 on Wednesday. We ordered in Indian food (my favorite) and had a little celebration. Alexi really helped Andrew coordinate everything including some awesome gifts. it couldn't have been better. On Sunday morning we took Julie to the airport for her flight home. i am sure she was ready to leave this crazy place. Afterwards, we had brunch with Andrew's brother Adam, Kari, and our two sweet nephews. it was an intimate brunch with great food and good conversation.
i am feeling completely blessed with my little life. i have so many wonderful things to be thankful for that words can hardly express my gratitude. know this, my heart is full of love for this wonderful little life.
big news coming soon....so stay tuned this week!
