One of the things i love about this industry, this hobby, this art is how it brings people across the globe together. How we can find inspiration across the world and bridge our cultural gaps, make new friends, and learn from each other. Even though we live in so many different places and speak so many different languages, we are united by art.
I love to go blog hopping and finding this inspiration, seeing other people's approaches to mixed media art & scrapbooking. I like to share (with their permission of course) people i find along the way.
United by Art #14: Ceriz
I found Ceriz while browsing through pinterest and fell in love. i had to click on the layout to go to her blog to see more of her work. Once i was there i just kept scrolling to see her beautiful pieces. i love the way she splashes color on her soft (mostly white) backgrounds. i wanted to share some of Ceriz's stunning pieces and a peek into her studio.
I was really drawn to this page not only for the beautiful aqua color but all those stitches and embellishments that make this page pop!
I love how Ceriz took the color inspiration from the middle of the page and added it to the top. Crazy in love with the stitches and strings around this page.
How cute is this framed trio? I love the way this piece flows. It's really nicely balanced with the artsy background, images, and title.
i simply adore this layout. The soft grey background with the beautiful blues & greens is quite stunning with the photo that just POPS with the red flower.
This monochromatic layout just makes my heart happy. The touches of black around the page are just the right touch.
This is the page i found on pinterest that led me to her blog. i love the ways she has pops of yellow at the top, middle, and bottom right of the page. The stitching and black accents really finish the page.
the layout of this page is just awesome. i completely adore the way she split the photo. Pure genius.
While stumbling around her blog, i noticed some of her studio shots. I love the banner stretched across her space. It adds color and whimsy to the area. I also noticed the page protectors on the wall holding her scrapbooking pages and the adorable little organizer on her desk. Click here to see the blog post with more detail shots.
Thank you Ceriz for letting me share your beautiful pages.
