After recovering, i was longing to work with My Mind's Eyes new releases. It is such a great company and i love designing for them. So my May Challenge sketch is up on the blog and you can win a MME collection of your choice!
Be Happy Together features the new Wood Necessities and Market Street Lines. Oh boy do i love both of these new releases, like a LOT! This sketch will challenge you to stack lots of patterned paper to support two focal photos.
i started the background with watercolor crayons and then layered my Retroburst stencil on top using Rose Matter Archival ink. I love that touch of color to match Cheyenne's dress. i then stacked all the patterned paper cut a little bigger than the photos. i love the wonky stitches on those layers.
For mother's day, Cheyenne asked me to help her create a frame for her Mom. I already had a great photo of her from prom but it was slightly smaller than the frame. No problem! We added an older MME paper that highlighted the photo.
Next we added a punched border and stacked some stickers & buttons from Market Street. It was a little touch to bring out the colors in the photo. These types of gifts are so easy to make and a great way to use up leftover supplies. With Father's Day approaching why not grab a frame & a beloved photo and create one!
