My Something New art journal page uses lots & lots of the Pass the Tissue Paper. Oh man i am in heaven with the rolls. They are the perfect weight for so many different projects and layer so lovely.
i used gel medium to layer the Ephemera Collage Tissue paper on my already painted art journal page and let it dry. i then tore another piece and layered it again & again. i then used the Blindside Masks and painted over.
i lifted the masks and then finished the page with my little sprout and journaling. i love how that tissue paper really peeks throughout the color. Gorgeous!
I used the same technique on my Need layout. First layering the Quote Collage Pass the Tissue Paper. Next i added a layer of Mod Grey/White Pass the tissue paper and then the Crazy for Chevy Wrap it Up paper. i love how they looked layered together.
i used the confetti pattern masks with some dylusions inks to create the circles. For the title i used Ranger Ink/Tim Holtz Distress inks over the Central Park Masks and outlined them using a black pen.
i hope you got some ideas on how to use Hazel & Ruby! it's time to hop on over to Stephanie Bryan blog.
