Alexi has grown up so fast. This year she is a senior at Colorado State University. While in college, she decided she needed something crafty to occupy her downtime. Something that didn't require too much thought but would be fun. Insert Nail Art. She loves pinterest like me and started a board called "Nailed it." Alexi started collecting colored nail polish and bought a 20 piece Nail Art Tool Kit that includes brushes & dotters. i thought i would share with you today some of the autumn/holiday nail art she's painted.
Ok so these dandelions aren't really fall-ish but are so adorable. I love the color of the base and how they have movement. It seems art mimics real life and those seeds are spreading across those nails. Totally adorable.
Do you recognize Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael, and Leonardo? These famous turtles were immortalized on her nails last halloween. i have to admit this is one of my favorites of her nail art. i think she needs to add Splinter to the thumb!
These spooktacular nails are so creepily good. i love how two colors become mummies on her nails. The eyes are what really take it to the next level.
These cute trees really reflect the autumn season. I am just amazed at her steady hands to paint the tree base and "leaves." I love all these colors together. Simple and beautiful.
The snowflakes....oh my goodness the snowflakes. I am so proud of her and how she knows how to change up the direction/design of the snowflakes. That hint of sparkle on the nail is so pretty against that deep red color. i changed my mind - i think these are my favorites. Definitely....until the next ones.
If you missed her other nail art, check them out on this blog post.
