It's always a good day when my sweet nephew Jake is around. i love this capture from the summer of the cousins together. Jake, Chrissi's oldest son, is sandwiched right between my kids, with just one and a half years between each kid. They grew up together. As Chrissi & i were inseperable, so were our kids. He's certainly grown up into a handsome young man.
On this layout i used my kaleidoscope stencil to create the background. (As soon as i find a place online that sells them, i will let you know. You can also ask your local stores to carry them). After a few sprinkles of black acrylic paint, i started layering elements from Collectable from My Mind's Eye.
i love their brads and decided to use them all over my page. Stamping along the edges in black really grounds my page. i love the stacked title on the upper right. i couldn't resist adding a few enamel dots around the page to finish off my color story. This layout is also a sketch over at the My Mind's Eye Blog. I hope you will play along with the sketch challenge for your chance to win some awesome MME goodness.
